With four beautifully appointed suites to choose from, we can accommodate wedding parties from 2 to 90. Should your reception be for more guests, we can arrange a marquee in the grounds or, if you prefer, our Devonshire Select outside catering can visit you in your own home. We can arrange a marquee to accommodate any number of guests. If using the grounds of The Devonshire Arms, we create a covered walkway between the hotel and marquee so it becomes an extension of the hotel. This enables your guests to enjoy the atmosphere and facilities of the hotel. At your home, we will make a site visit and discuss the various options to maximise your chosen space. Prices and terms and conditions are available on request.
The Cavendish Room designed for a formal banquet for between 40 and 90 guests, the oak paneled Cavendish Room has luxurious drapes and a plush carpet. With a built-in dance floor, which is discreetly hidden during the reception, and a self-contained private bar, its ideal for an evening reception of up to 120 guests.
For a smaller party of between 10 and 20 guests, the light and airy Hartington room is surrounded by magnificent works from a collection painted by Corelli for the 6th Duke of Devonshire whilst visiting Italy, it has a contemporary feel with cream walls, blue and cream checked curtains and beige carpeting. An interconnecting door to Barden also allows you to enjoy one room for reception drinks and the other for dining.
For a more intimate party of between 2 and 12, the Barden room has light and airy decor and is the perfect backdrop.
The Clifford room is richly decorated with antique furniture and chandeliers, it is perfect for those looking for a secluded location for their reception and seats between 20 and 30 guests.
